Life is what happens when you are making other plans..
One thing I have learned about life... don't ever plan it... it seems I have tried to do that too many times and well I give up... as they say life is something that happens when you are making plans...
I was getting used to being a truck drivers girlfriend... haha yea right.. its a good way to really get to know each other as the cell to cell phone calls makes you have to talk... but there are also the times you want to throw your phone against a wall cause a phone can't reach out and hug you when you are having a bad day or a bad moment...
Josh and I had done plenty of talking about things to come... and the plan for him was to drive over the road long haul for 5 years make money and buy a home and things he wanted... and well me I had all that... look where it got me..HAHA! Now here I am starting completely over in life, I found this great guy, niether of us were looking ok so the timing may not have been perfect but life is life... so I think hmmm how ironic I found someone that I really love and he is never here... once a month for 4 days or 5 just flies by! So after all the talking Josh also rearranged his plan to ok 2 and a half years long haul then he is around more... lets say we compromised... but to be honest I kind of felt like maybe he was just doing that to please me... and I didn't feel that great about it...
Until the other morning... I realized this guy he really loves me... and he's pretty dang fond of the kids too... I was starting to think I can make it another 2 and a half years ... but the other day we had a bad moment... as you do when you are apart as long as we are... lets say we had a bad 24 hours... anyhoo of course we are doing much better seems sometimes you have to go through the hard stuff to get to the stuff that is real... to the heart of the matter so to speak... well Josh is going to take a 4 to 8 week summer leave of absence from long haul to help get us all settled in our new home and my new job etc... he will probably get a local job for that time so we will both be working... but how nice it will be to have him around for a while... I am like a little kid that can't wait to bring her puppy home... haha... I miss him and can't wait till he pulls up on June 3rd... so to all my family that hasn't met Josh yet... you will this summer... ;) he is going to be around for a while .. wooo hooo!
Ok so tonight I am writing a novel... guess I got caught up... kids will be home from thier dads at 6:45 am guess I better catch myself some zzzz's... Josh is on his way to Toronto... Peace out ya'll hehehehe!
