Softball

I guess it's been a while since I've posted~ sorry life has been busy! For starters Beka finished softball season which had us running about 5 days a week to games and practices. Last year her team lost every game except one and came in last place~ things sure turned around this year though, this year they won all thier season games except one and came in first place for the season! The final tournament was June 23rd and 24th for the final trophy ~ going in they were first place and a team to be reckoned with, they played one game on Saturday and won~ Grandpa Bob and Grandma Penny and Aunt Jeannie all drove over to watch her play ( she enjoyed that) Ryan even went, but surprisingly big brother went to quite a few of her games this year! So back to finish the tournament on Sunday after Saturdays win~ First game Sunday they lost by 1 point but they sure played thier lil tails off, 2nd game they won by 4 , 3rd game win again, and final game which is to see who takes home 1st place got rained out halfway through and they were behind by 3 at the time so the trophy went to the other team but our girls still took home a HUGE 2nd place trophy and didn't seem down, they played thier butts off on Sunday and Beka ended up with a pretty darn good raspberry on her leg from sliding into home plate it was a close call but she was called "SAFE"!!! I guess the raspberry was worth it...hehe!
