Wyoming...WHY?
Josh and I are HOME....YAY!
I drove from Whitefish to Sheridan WY, on Friday it took me about 10 and a half hours after all the puppy stops etc... I just barely got me and the dogs into our room and was out like a light... Josh woke me up at 12:30 am (he had just woke up) and his Company Werner had screwed us up bigtime and he was stuck in Omaha Nebraska. I was supposed to be picking him up outside of Denver on Sat am but well looks like a change of plans... so by 6 am I was on the road to Nebraska... then by 9 am another change of plans... I was meeting him in Nebraska at a truck stop but didn't have to drive all the way to Omaha... whew...I got to the truck stop about 3:30 in the afternoon and waited until about 7:15 for Josh... I got something to eat ...let the dogs run ... bought a couple mags and took a two hour nap in the car in the pouring rain... I tell ya I am just not used to all this driving... I have more respect for what Josh does now... Once Josh got to the truck stop we grabbed him a bite to eat and I followed his semi to Henderson (outside Denver) we unloaded all his stuff ... took his trainee to the hotel and finally got on the road to our Super 8 hotel about 1:45 am checked in by 2:15 and crashed hard... up on the road again in morn... and drove straight through to home so we could get here in time for the kids who would be home about 6:45 am.... we pulled in about 6:15 whew we made it... long ass drive OMG....
We were going to take pics but we kept forgetting to grab the camera out of the back.. we had a sweet car though a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix .. that car cruised sooooooo nice....
Anyhoo we will be back in WA or I will be ... Josh with us.. this next Monday.... so I will be sending out our new phone numbers and address as soon as we get it all done... I am not sure how much I will be writing for a while... as we are trying to pack and get everything done here... then we will be unpacking etc... so until I write again... Love you all... G
